诃里诃罗立像

现有雕像证据充分显示,在七世纪至八世纪的东南亚大陆湄公河三角洲地区曾流行一种诃里诃罗崇拜;他是将毗湿奴(诃里)和湿婆(诃罗)合为一体的神祗。对于刚刚接受印度教文化的地方统治者而言,在同一种信仰崇拜中包括两位印度教的主要男性神祗,其优点显而易见。这件王室的崇拜圣像是前吴哥时期安德塔寺风格的典范,其表面曾非常光滑。雕像前额上竖着的第三只眼睛及扎起的发簇都是湿婆的标志,而不带装饰的圆锥形法冠(头巾)则是前吴哥时期毗湿奴的显著特点之一。
