«Don't miss out on one of the biggest events of the year! Thousands of people from all over New York come to the Met to celebrate Lunar New Year in February. There is something for everyone at the all-day festival this Saturday, February 6.»

Kick off the day with the lively dragon parade in the Great Hall, which is always a fan favorite. Prefer something quieter? Start your day with a peaceful tai chi session in the galleries instead. Foodies can learn how to create their own hand-pulled noodles or watch a tea ceremony in The Astor Chinese Garden Court.

Love to draw? Meet illustrator Yangsook Choi and hear about her creative process, or pop by one of our many drawing stations in the galleries. Art enthusiasts can also explore traditions from across Asia through opera, music, dance, gallery talks, and more. Then, finish the day by watching colorful digital fireworks in the Great Hall. You can activate them by tweeting #metfest!

Don't miss out on all the fun! I hope to see you this Saturday.
