In 1913, the Grolier Club commissioned Ruzicka to engrave 10 full page and 20 smaller color wood engravings for this book which celebrates aspects of New York City and was published in 1915. He also wrote "A Note on the Devopment of Colour Printing from Wood Engravings" to accompany prose impressions of the city by Walter Eaton.
Half title, title page, contents, list of illustrations, note on color printing, pp. 3 - 120, colophon. With color 30 plates, ten full page. Bound in blue paper subtly striped with cream, cloth spine, title insert of gold letters on black on spine.
