Design for a clock with a bust at top and a pair of sphinxes below the clockface. Around the central design, four clockface decorations and twelve motifs. From a series of six plates with clock designs, copies after Daniel Marot's "Nouveaux Livre de Boïtes de Pendulles." This edition lacks the inscription included in the original. The plates are printed in red ink and may have been published by Henry II Bonnart in Paris.
