Plate 4 of a series of eight plates of emblems dedicated to Cardinal Mazarin. This design presents a globe with a protruding triangle, on a pedestal, on a terrace. The sun is shining on it from the top left corner of the scene. This scene is enclosed in an oval medallion, itself enclosed in a wreath of laurel branches and interlacing ribbons. There is an inscribed ribbon in the medallion and a second inscription underneath the design.
