Plate 8 of a set of 8 plates of designs for box lids. This plate presents two designs with flowers. The first design is one of wild flowers while the second represents a vase of flowers.
The designs are inverted copies of designs by Lucotte for the Encyclopédie (Vol VIII, Orfevre-bijoutier, Pl. IV, fig. 7-8).
