Not on view

Engraving, part of a set of six rectangular prints with white backgrounds, representing different types of hunting scenes. The picture in this print consists of three men with spears, one on horseback, attacking a bear, in the center of the plate, with the help of their hunting dogs. In the second plane, on the left, a wolf, on top of a cliff, is pushing rocks down, one of them depicted on top of a dead dog, throwing off one of the hunters near him. Near the center, another bear runs away from the main episode, followed by two dogs, while another, younger, bear, climbs a bare tree on the right. This engraving is closely related to a print of the same subject by Virgil Solis.
