Design for a door knocker. At bottom center a cartouche with a horse-head and acanthus leaves is depicted. Extending from its sides are thick leaves which curve outward and upward toward the central area where a dog is drawn at the center. The top is surmounted by a blank escutcheon flanked by lions.
