Plate 4 of a series of designs for doors and mantel pieces. This design presents a gate with an arch and rusticated masonry. Within the arch is a rectangular door. Over the lintel of the door is a plinth surrounded by military imagery and flags. On either side of the plinth are eagles. Over the plinth is a round medallion, and over it is a mascaron with a vase of lowers on its head.
