Quilt, Basket pattern
The baskets in the diamond set-blocks are pieced from a variety of cotton calicos. The blocks are stitched together in a diagonal grid separated by sashing of beige cotton chintz. There is diamond quilting in the chintz areas, and quilting follows the basket design in the pieced blocks. The backing is of plain white woven cotton.
