Marking:  IA or JA in monogram script, conjoined (maker's mark);  V, crown above, in a shield, on horizontally engraved ground (Dutch mark of importation and taxation of foreign silver in use 1814-1953).
Location of marks:  near hem of figure's apron, above words "me not" and also at rim of small swinging cup under the 'wh' of the word "when";  in hem decoration on back of skirt on fifth scallop to the left of point of overskirt, and at rim of small swinging cup under 'd' of the word "unkindness".
