Jar and tall perforated stand

Korea

Not on view

This combination of a round jar and an elongated stand with a perforated design is representative of high-fired, wheel-thrown gray stoneware from the Silla kingdom and the neighboring Gaya federation. Vessels of this type seem to have functioned primarily as burial objects.
