Dish with Interlace Designs

The rimless shape of this flat dish is probably based on metal prototypes. The abstract geometric decoration is an Islamic adaptation of an interlace design drawn from the Greco-Roman tradition. The green and turquoise accents add color to the otherwise plain, inscribed surface.
