Not on view
A family outside a cottage with an old man smoking a pipe and a man in Highland dress holding a baby and a drover in conversation with a young woman. Cows, sheep and a horse rest at the left and animals are being driven along the road towards distant mountains. This is an early state with the etching still very pronounced. The print is based on a picture exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1835.
