This work of art was on loan to the museum and has since been returned to its lender.Brightly colored and meticulously rendered, this drawing depicts one of two different schemes for window curtains. It represents the final design proposal that Schastey presented to Hegeler, signified as such by its formal framing device and inscription. This drawing is also significant as it captures favored color palettes and patterns popular during the Aesthetic movement.
