Allegory of old age: an old man supported by a child's walking frame on which sits an hourglass
Bartsch thought this by Agostino Veneziano, a view that now is not generally accepted. It is possibly by Girolamo Fagiuoli after Domenico Giuntalodi (see Vasari-Milanesi VI 26-7 (life of Niccolò Soggi); 'Revue de l'Art 80 (1988) p.54). The prints seems originally to have been engraved in 1536. The lower right corner of this print has been repaired. Part of the lettering is missing. For a complete impression see 49.97.140.
