Kopf König Davids

Dieses, aus feinkörnigem Kalkstein gemeißelte, ausdrucksvolle Gesicht verfügte ursprünglich über mit Blei intarsierte Augen. Der Kopf stammt aus der Westfassade, die dem Leben der Heiligen Anne gewidmet ist, der Mutter der Jungfrau Maria sowie der Genealogie und dem frühen Leben Jesu, der hier als Nachfahre des biblischen Königs David betrachtet wird.
