Vase

George E. Ohr American
Manufacturer Biloxi Art Pottery
1890–1905
Not on view
This vase is characteristic of George Ohr's work because of its thinly-potted construction and elaborate handles. It is decorated with a red-grey mottled glaze which was applied by dipping the object into different glazes. This object is an example of art pottery that is primarily sculptural in its decoration.
