Liturgy of the Divine Eucharist

Armenian

Not on view

At the center of this manuscript a deacon holds an omophorion, a stole, and a pointed crown, or miter, for a prelate preparing to put on his vestments to perform the service of the Eucharist. Flanking them are two tall, standing figures wearing the miters and omophoria of ranking prelates. Depicted above in the dome of the church is a scene of the Last Supper, prefiguring the Eucharist.
