This two-sided trade card captures the fashionable Aesthetic style of George A. Schastey’s firm and its newfound prosperity. The front of the card lists the services offered, and a flowering Japanesque dragon provides the backdrop for Schastey’s address; a related motif appears on the entrance hall cabinet from 4 West Fifty-Fourth Street. The reverse of the card depicts Schastey’s newly constructed manufactory, located at 228 West Fifty-Third Street.
