화병
이 작은 화병에 사용된 “도화”유와 같이 분홍색이 도는 적색의 참신한 유약은 17세기 중후반에 처음 제조된 것입니다. 이같은 형태의 작은 화병은 당시 문필용으로 제작된 것으로 일반적으로 8개 이상의 세트로 구성되었습니다. 이 화병은 한 세트의 문방구로서 각각의 형태가 미묘하게 다른 네 개의 화병 중 하나였으며, 네 개의 화병은 목 부분에 도드라진 세 개의 가는 고리로 구별됩니다. 이러한 화병 세트는 그 실제 사용 여부와 상관없이 십중팔구 궁정 관리에게 선사할 선물로 제작되었습니다. 궁정용으로 제작된 작품에서 자주 보는 것과 같이 이 화병 바닥에는 강희 황제 재위 시 제작되었음을 시사하는 여섯 글자(大淸康熙年製)의 명문이 있습니다. 그러나 이 한자 서체에 의하면 화병의 제작 연대는 1678년부터 1688년까지입니다.
