Embroidered whitework coverlet
Three panels of a linen/cotton ribbed fabric are seamed together to form the base of this whitework coverlet. The piece is embroidered in loops with heavy white cotton thread. The central medallion is set within an octagon of interlocking rings, which in turn is surrounded by two abstract floral borders.
