狮首头盔
这顶头盔是现存最早的文艺复兴时期的“all’antica”（复古风格）盔甲。它代表涅墨亚狮子的头，其皮毛被神话中的英雄赫拉克勒斯当作头饰和披风穿戴。文艺复兴时期的艺术品中经常可见赫拉克勒斯披着狮皮的形象，狮皮象征不屈不挠的力量、勇气和毅力。这件头盔的重量超过八磅，铜鎏金外壳上有精巧打造的浮雕形成狮头状，罩着下面名叫“撒里特”的轻便钢盔。雕刻般的外形精美绝伦，这也是文艺复兴早期金匠作品中的杰作。
