这尊双手交扣、双目圆睁的人像是在一座神庙中被发现的，与其他十一尊雕像依照葬仪埋在一起。这十二尊雕像据信最初代表了崇拜者向他们的神祗献上永恒的祈祷。人像硕大的头上镶嵌有贝壳和黑石灰石，形成突出的双眼。风格化的卷发垂落在矩形胡须的两侧，头发和胡须上都能找到最初沥青涂层的痕迹。这尊塑像是抽象几何风格的苏美尔雕像之典范，与其他写实风格的作品并存于早王朝时期。
