玛丽莲

这件玛丽莲·梦露的肖像虽小却引人注目，她被当作传单寄出，以宣传沃霍尔的《玛丽莲》出版，这是一组十件大型丝网印刷画作品。在其中，沃霍尔改动了玛丽莲为1953年的电影 《飞瀑怒潮》所拍摄的宣传照，在她的脸部加入了幻彩荧光漆色彩。这组作品中的每一件都有不同的色彩搭配，层次叠加用了一种丝网印刷的商业印刷工艺，沃霍尔同时还采用了不对齐套印的手法，并且每次印刷数量巨大。沃霍尔使用商业印刷手段将玛丽莲的图像从遥不可及的性感女神转变成一项消费品，任何能支付合理价格的人均可获得。
