云龙纹罐

以钴蓝色着于瓷器表面的绘法首先在十四世纪的中国兴盛起来，可以说是全球陶瓷史上最重要的一项发展。这只为宫廷制作的华丽瓷瓶是景德镇瓷器的典范，瓶肩上的款识标明此瓶造于宣德年间。画面描绘一只猛龙在稀疏的祥云间蟠曲舞动。瓶肩处不同寻常的兽面纹可能是“饕餮”（荣耀之脸），这是一种常在印度与喜马拉雅文化中看到的神兽图像，在十五世纪早期的中国非常流行。
