四个三叶草形的盒子环绕在一个大圆盒或花形盒子四周，这样的漆器组常用来盛装香或化妆品。这件漆盒就出自这样的套件。在陶器和青铜器中也可见类似作品，见证了不同创作材料之间的相互影响。这件精工打造的首饰盒镶嵌有复杂精细的珍珠母和玳瑁片，代表了高丽王朝（918 –1392年）漆器制作的顶峰。
