円形または花形の箱を中心として、外側を4つの三つ葉型の箱がとりまく漆器の組み合わせは、化粧箱または香箱として作られました。この箱はそのような一組の一部でした。同じ形式の陶磁器や青銅の作品があることが異なる分野間における影響を物語っています。それ自体が宝物のようなこの箱は、真珠貝と亀甲の小片による複雑な螺鈿細工が施されたもので、高麗王朝(918–1392年)の漆工芸の粋を誇っています。
