朋内布是一位负责给国王披袍加冕的宫廷官员。他的墓穴上部结构包括一间彩绘的祭室，由一道玄关与墓园相连。祭室内一道风格化的壁龛式门廊（即所谓的“假门”）提供了一条与死者进行象征性接触的渠道。大都会博物馆不仅有这间装饰精美的祭室，还有与之相连的墓园以及一间用于安置朋内布雕像的副墓室，共同形成了一座墓群，其完整程度在博物馆收藏界是独一无二的。
