Plate 5 of a series of eight plates of emblems dedicated to Cardinal Mazarin. This design presents a portable sundial on a table in a garden. At the top of the design is a star. This scene is in an medallion enclosed is a wreath of leaves surrounded by a ribbon. There is an inscribed ribbon in the medallion and another inscription under the design.
