يَحمل هذا التمثال الصغير المُصنّع من الخزف الأزرق البرّاق اسم الملك أمنحتب الثالث منقوشًا، وتظهر عليه ملامح الوجه المنمنمة المُميّزة والمألوفة في عدة تمثيلات أخرى لهذا الحاكم. وقد ظهر منذ عصر الدولة القديمة هذا الشكل من أشكال أبي الهول بيدَين بشريّتَين يحمل آنية قرابين. كما يظهر على عدة تماثيل تعود لعصر الدولة الحديثة ملك يُقدّم نوعًا من التماثيل الصغيرة على شكل شخص يُقدّم بدوره قربانًا.
