Evening dress

Women's fashion during the 1920s was truly liberating. Dresses were loose-fit, the waistline was dropped and the hemline rose, showing off the knees. Nightlife activities grew to include dance clubs, lounges and cabarets, and women went out unescorted for a night on the town. Sleeveless dresses, heavily beaded were the rage and this dress is an excellent example of that style. A vivid color, the beadwork is stunning as the flower forms are particularly atypical and beautiful.
