Dress
Documented as being worn by Mina at just six and a half years of age, this is a very beautiful party dress. Made with fine machine-made lace, a great deal of workmanship went into creating this piece for a special occasion. Seen on the dress are the same decorative forms that were popular in 1870s women's garments. The original color was a very vibrant pink, but as with many silk garments of the nineteenth century, it has begun to fade.
