Dress

ca. 1908
Not on view
Featured here is a very elaborate girl's dress due to the great amount of detail which is quite typical of the Belle Époque period. The lace band has been manipulated into various ruffles, swags, sleeves and insertions, while the ribbon is manipulated skillfully into rosettes. This is an extremely refined and very opulent piece for a young girl.
