This panel and its companion (07.225.503b) are attributed the Manner of Le Riche based on stylistic similarities to the paintings in the Belvedere of the Petit Trianon by Le Riche, who worked on decorations at Versailles as "peintre des Bâtiments de la Reine" from 1780 onwards.
