Manufactory Bannister Hall British

The Bannister Hall print works was founded ca. 1798 by Richard Jackson and John Stephenson. Between 1809 and 1825 it was owned by Charles Swainson with varying partners. It was the leading firm for woodblock "furniture" chintzes.
