Sword Guard (Tsuba) With Pine Motif (松図鐔)

This tsuba shows a shakudō and copper inlay of pines and some broad-leaf bamboo (sasa). There are two openings which appear to represent clouds. The plate is polished but also features tsuchime (hammer blow) accents. At the bottom, two udenuki-ana (holes for security loop) are opened.
