Inscription: Nine-line inscription on front of base: Year 1228 (Chula or small era 1228 = A.D. 1866), year of the Dog, 8th decade, 2nd month, 7th day of the waxing moon, finished by the sound of breakfast drum (morning about 8:00 am), Pan Li Moh Paeng (?) husband, wife, father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, all led by high faith made this statue so that the Buddha's religion would last 5,000 years. May our wish be fully fulfilled in all ways whatsoever; and may we reach Nirvana which is the top of all happiness.
