These eight poems celebrate the beauty of Stone Lake, a scenic site near Suzhou where Wang Chong lived as an adult. Wang Chong’s circle of friends included some of the greatest artists of the day, including his teacher Wen Zhengming, and they frequently gathered at Stone Lake for communion and artistic exchange.
