Untitled
In keeping with Sterne’s interest in urban architecture and engineering, Untitled represents a soaring structure, part fantasy, part observation. Linear hatch marks define an arched opening, perhaps a bridge or tunnel. At the right is a zig-zag shape reminiscent of a metal staircase. Reaching from the lower right to the upper left is a thick diagonal stripe suggestive of a walkway. At the far left are what appear to be skyscrapers.
