Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta credit Susan Cianciolo’s RUN collections for inspiring their fashion practice, which includes handcraft, recycling, and blurring the boundaries between art and fashion. Their artisanal collections of hand-knit, hand-dyed, and repurposed garments were featured in a solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 2018. The duo’s background in sculpture and textiles is evident in the dramatic shape and construction of this ensemble, which was made from a repurposed fleece blanket woven with a contrasting fabric in a rectangular panel at the back.
