Glass Bottle

Not on view

Other bottles of this type have been found that are equipped with lids of silver with niello inlay, suggesting they were used as rosewater sprinklers. The globular body and long narrow neck of this bottle are echoed in a number of silver examples from the eleventh century, dating this piece to the same period.
