Ce curieux petit taureau en argent, moitié homme moitié animal, porte un vêtement au motif gradué et tient un récipient à bec. Les animaux à posture humaine qui caractérisent l’art iranien ancien symbolisent peut-être des forces naturelles ou des personnages de mythes et de fables. Les cailloux à l’intérieur laissent penser qu’il peut s’ agir d’un hochet cérémoniel. Les traces de tissu adhérant à la figurine suggèrent qu’elle a été enterrée intentionnellement, peut-être dans le cadre d’un rituel.
