Esempio tipico dell’antica scultura cinese, questa figura di ceramica mostra la bravura dell’artista nel comunicare il senso del movimento in un oggetto statico. Lo scultore è riuscito ad imprimere nella danzatrice una forza vitale, catturando nelle sue movenze un attimo denso di tensione, mentre getta all’indietro una manica e si inchina lievemente piegando le ginocchia.
