獅子形杯
このライオンの前半身をかたどった優美な杯は、アケメネス朝の金細工の傑作です。この種の器はおそらく王家や儀式で使われたものであり、貴金属で作られた伝統的な杯のひとつです。ライオンはアケネメス様式特有の獰猛さを抑えた装飾的な表現です。複数の部分をろう付け技法により見えないように接いでおり、技術の高さを示しています。さらに、全長 41.5 mの針金が器の上部に44列に均等に巻き付けられて帯をなし、ライオンの口の上側には小さな畝があります。
