Krishna and Arjuna (Krishna Arjun)
This print depicts a celebrated moment in the epic Mahabharata, when the hero Arjuna rides into battle at Kurukshetra with Krishna serving as his charioteer. Prior to combat, the two reflected on the many ethical dilemmas surrounding warfare. This conversation forms the basis of the Bhagavad Gita scripture. Resolved to do battle, Arjuna prepares an arrow while Krishna sounds his conch-shell war trumpet.
