이 작품은 현존하는 고대 이탈리아 호박 조각중 가장 정교합니다. 하단의 철핀 흔적이 난 구멍은 이것이 원래 피불라(안전 핀)였음을 암시합니다. 여자와 남자가 긴 의자에 누워 있으며, 여자는 작은 병을 들고 왼쪽 손가락으로 병 주둥이를 만지고 있습니다. 그녀는 수염 없는 둥근 얼굴의 젊은 남자와 함께 있습니다. 그들의 어깨에는 새가 둥지를 틀고 있고 발치에는 자그마한 하인이 서 있습니다. 이 인물들이 인간인지 신인지는 알 수 없습니다.
