플루트
1708년, 요한 프리드리히 뵈트거는 중국에서 이미 알려진 경질 자기 제작 과정을 재발견해 새로운 명품 산업을 만들었습니다. 자기로 만든 악기는 말리고 굽는 과정에서 수축량이 많아 상당한 문제가 있었는데 악기의 최종 크기가 정확하도록 큰 거푸집을 제작해야 하였습니다. 나무로 된 플루트는 구멍을 뚫어 선율과 음색을 조정하기가 쉬웠지만 자기는 나중에 다루는 데 문제가 있었습니다. 이 플루트는 자기 부분을 굽고 난 후, 금 세공인이 조인트, 소켓, 캡, 키를 만들어 금속작업을 마무리하였습니다. 자기 플루트와 카리용은 희귀했지만, 오카리나는 좀 더 흔하게 볼 수 있었습니다. 이 같은 플루트는 당시 상류층 사이에서 잘 알려졌습니다.
