«La Frileuse» («Мерзлячка»)

Frileuse — это девушка, крайне восприимчивая к холоду. Мраморная версия, находящаяся в Музее Фабре в Монпелье, от 1783 г., была изначально выполнена как аллегория Зимы. Спиральная колоннообразная композиция бронзовой статуи, отлитой самим Гудоном, из коллекции Герцога Орлеанского, отличается предельной простотой. Дрожащее тело девушки оттенено элегантной, но едва ли уместной шалью.
