菊花桐花纹章酒壶

这只酒器可能曾为叱咤风云的武将丰臣秀吉（1536 –1598年）所用，他在1590年代统一了日本。他的纪念陵寝——高台寺以幸阿弥家出产的漆器为陈设，这种漆器以细致描绘的秋草纹和丰臣氏家族纹章为特色。这只漆器的设计即是后来所称的高台风格（指带华贵金饰的黑漆器），其上有两种纹样的绝妙对比——色彩、节奏、图案都截然不同。当时，这类风格的装饰不仅受到漆器艺术家的钟爱，也广见于陶瓷和织锦中。
